Orlando EBG employees braved the Florida heat and humidity to participate in a 5K race around Lake Eola on Thursday, May 9. The SimplyIOA Corporate 5k presented by Key HR is known as “Orlando’s largest office party” and is hosted exclusively for Florida’s corporate community with each business hosting a tent for their team to gather before and after the race.
EBG participated with 27 Orlando employees who ran, jogged or walked the route while meeting people from other companies and enjoying time together. More than 12,000 individuals from over 500 Central Florida companies participated in the race, which raised over $24,000 for the Track Shack Youth Foundation and Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida.
